Hints & Tips
Always look out for things like window handles or tiles. You'll need to take their position into account to ensure a perfect fit. All our blinds can be fitted into the face of your window frame or wall, or into the top of the lintel. This gives you complete control over the positioning of your blind. If you have any questions about measuring your window, please feel free to contact us on 01257 276868 or email : info@chorleywindowblinds.co.uk

Measuring vertical blind slats
Do's
When measuring vertical blind slats measure the exact length of the slat when laid out flat from the top of the material to the bottom of the material.
Don'ts
Do not measure the full drop of the window because this measurement does not allow for the depth of the rail and the operating gap of the louvres.
N.B Typically the length of a louvre or slat needs to be about 5cm shorter than the drop of the window to allow for the headrail, the hanger and the operating gap at the bottom
of the louvre, if you order the louvre using the full drop of the window, the louvre will be about 5cm too long.
If there is any doubt give us a call, or email us.
To Recap
Remember only measure the length of the slat / louvre not the window drop.
